Give back with your time

Not every gift is a donation. Our volunteers help us run festivals and golf days, bring their clubs on board, and spread the word about Little Sticks in their communities. Whether you can spare a day a year or a few hours a month, there’s a way for you to be part of it.

Ways to get involved

  • Festival volunteer

Help run our Little Sticks school festivals, where pupils from a local network of schools come together to play, compete and celebrate. You might set up activities, support with registration or cheer on young golfers. No coaching experience is needed.

  • Event volunteer

Support our golf days, challenges and fundraising events. From welcoming players and running a skills challenge to helping with a raffle, you’ll help make every event a success.

  • Club champion

Be the voice of Golfers Give Back at your golf club. You’ll help your club get involved, whether by choosing us as charity of the year, running a competition or sharing our story with members.

what we ask of our volunteers

Our volunteers share our belief in uniting golfers, driving impact and inspiring futures. In return for your time, we’ll give you a clear role, a proper welcome and support whenever you need it.

Keeping children safe.

Some roles, including festival volunteering, involve working with children. Volunteers in these roles will need the appropriate safeguarding checks and training, and must follow our safeguarding procedures and those of any school or venue they work in. We’ll guide you through everything you need before you start.
