Golfers Give Back is an independent charity that uses golf to inspire children and young people to develop the confidence and skills to enjoy movement and build a lifelong positive relationship with physical activity. Through our flagship programme, Little Sticks, we support schools to deliver high-quality, inclusive golf as part of the PE curriculum.

Our game can change a child's confidence
Golf has given many of us friendships, focus and a game for life. Golfers Give Back is how we can pass that on. Whether you fundraise, give your time or spread the word at your club, you join a growing community of golfers, mentors, schools and partners working together so more children get the chance to play.
That community already includes over 30 regional mentors supporting schools across England.

DRIVING IMPACT.
Evidence, not guesswork
Our flagship programme Little Sticks has now reached over 50,000 pupils across more than 320 schools (2026). Pupils reported a 20% increase in confidence to achieve their goals and a 12% increase in both resilience and teamwork, as set out in the 2025 independent evaluation by Sheffield Hallam University.
The programme reaches children who are often underrepresented in sport. In 2026, 27% of pupils taking part were eligible for Free School Meals and 22% had special educational needs and disabilities.

Inspiring Futures.
Building skills that last beyond the lesson
Little Sticks, a Golfers Give Back programme, gives schools a ready-to-teach golf unit with equipment, lesson plans, and a mentor to help them get started. It is designed so teachers can deliver it with confidence, whether or not they play golf themselves.
Children see what golf can offer them. 85% of pupils said golf is inclusive, and more than a third wanted to keep playing (Sheffield Hallam University evaluation, 2025).
